Office Administrator (05/2007---06/2007)

Function:

ADM

Responsibilities:

-Liaising with relevant suppliers, contractors etc as necessary.
-Assisting with general running of the office, managing maintenance of office premises and contents, including organising carpet cleaning, office cleaning etc. Liaising with and being main point of contact for building management office, contractors and suppliers etc.
-Maintenance of office equipment (eg. photocopiers), including ordering of supplies, liaising with suppliers and arranging repairs, as necessary.
-Ordering and maintaining general stationery supplies for the office.
-Administering annual renewals of office and filing/coordinating annual returns etc with relevant Government Bureaus.


Qualification:

-Minimum 3 years secretarial/administration experience in a multinational company.
-University education, requisite English qualifications.
-Computer literate, able to use Window's applications, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, database etc.
-Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Chinese with ability to generate own communication in English and Chinese
-Ability to get on with staff at all levels. Experience of managing junior support staff an advantage.
-Flexibility with regard to working hours and willingness to work overtime, as necessary.
-Discreet and professional with a sense of humor. Well organised, able to work on own initiative, mature and hard-working
 
Administration Assistant (05/2007---06/2007)

Function:

Manufacturing Engineering


Responsibilities:

-Complete expense report for director and team members
-Prepare management presentation materials
-Maintain electronic and hard copy central file and document control system
-Update and manage visual management boards
-Organize meetings, publish agenda?s and meeting minutes
-Organize domestic and international travel arrangements for team members
-Written and verbal translation (Mandarin/English, English/Mandarin)
-Process monthly invoices
-Represent Director with Joint Venture leadership and other Chinese companies
-Assist team members in understanding cultural differences and best ways to work with and merge different cultures
-Manage training plan and training activities
-Administer leave and HR requirements for the team
-Coordinate domestic and overseas visitors
-Serving as primary point of contact for and liaison between ME group and back office functions


Qualification:

-Strong interpersonal skills including outstanding verbal and written communication skills in Mandarin and English
-Understanding of and ability to work with different cultures
-Sound time management and organization skills
-Experience in working in an international company
-Advanced skills in PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Lotus Notes, and the Internet
-Desire to excel in job performance
-Experience in and understanding of Automotive Manufacturing Engineering
-Understanding of Program and Project Management
-Bachelor?s degree or with equivalent experiences, major in Engineering preferred
